Full Count Play Ball Clinics – Spring 2026

Is your child interested in trying baseball or softball for the first time?
Or are they already on a team and looking for more opportunities to develop their skills?

Friends of Baseball’s Full Count Play Ball Clinics are designed to introduce young athletes to the game in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. No prior experience is required.

Each clinic is led by trained coach-mentors and includes:

• Skill-building drills and stations
• Games focused on teamwork and confidence
• Instruction in catching, throwing, base running, and batting

All equipment is provided. Participants simply need to arrive ready to learn, try new skills, and have fun.

Dates and Times

Saturdays in April 2026

• 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Grades K–2)
• 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (Grades 3–5)

Cost

Free to all participants
Provided by Friends of Baseball in partnership with the City of Gresham

Age Groups

To ensure appropriate instruction, clinics are divided by grade level:

• Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
• 3rd through 5th Grade

Please register your child based on their current grade level.

Additional Opportunity

All clinic participants will receive an invitation to register for Play Ball Gresham, the City’s largest annual baseball and softball community event.
